Inclusive Christmas family holiday "Shining of the Stars" took place on December 20, 2024 in the festive Column Hall of the Kyiv City State Administration - KSCA. The event was organized by Public Organization "Litay" with full support of the Commissioner of the Kyiv City Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.This holiday has become unforgettable for more than 200 participants, including 100 children from 60 families.The guests of the holiday were welcomed by Deputy Mayor Volodymyr Bondarenko and Advisor to the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta Khanas Andriy.The story of each family has been heard in the hall and each of them is unique and special.Festive walk along the star-studded path to the friendly applause of the guests added confidence that everyone is a Star!!!Many surprises awaited the children and their parents:● Star image (Make-up artists created bright make-up and fashion designers made a unique image for each child).● A magical star from Anna Kovalyova, a volunteer from the NGO "Litay", became an exclusive gift. It will help children make their dreams come true.● A festive photo zone awaited everyone after the star procession.● A gallery of stars (interesting photos of our incredible families).● A musical gift from Angelika Rudnytska.● Generous Christmas gifts from partners.

Independence Day holiday "Heart to Heart"

The NGO "Litay" community celebrated Ukraine's Independence Day on August 25th, "Heart to Heart" with warmth, sincerity, and love in a family-like atmosphere. The celebration brought together 35 families with 50 children. We understand how important such gatherings are for our families - live communication, engaging activities, master classes, and entertaining games for children. For a few hours, families were able to forget their worries and the challenges of daily life, finding inspiration in meeting friends, like-minded individuals, and making new acquaintances in the beautiful setting of Natalka Park in the Obolon district of the capital.We are sincerely grateful to our large and friendly team of volunteers, which continues to grow, with teenagers joining in to help at the event.Thanks to our partners from the NGO "Women's Consortium of Ukraine" materials for the master classes were purchased, and the children were treated to refreshments. The "Bereginya Foundation" delighted our guests with a "Bubble Show' and healthy snacks! The foundation team also supported the celebration with photo and video coverage.
We would like to thank the NGO "Crimea_SOS" for their all-round support and participation in the event.May the generosity of those who supported the holiday by donating to our Charitable MONOBank be returned a hundredfold. Thanks to them, we were able to set up a photo zone and decorate the location.
Thank you to all the families who participated! Together, we took part in various activities: creating postcards, weaving patriotic bracelets, painting the "Mandala of Peace" and the "Give a Postcard - Share the Warmth" action.
Luckily, there were no air raid alerts during the celebration. It seems that our wish to embrace each other heart to heart was stronger!
Mother's Day holiday "Mom has wings"

It's amazing, because thanks to wonderful people: benefactors, volunteers, partners, the long-awaited meeting turned into a warm holiday, where every mother felt like a real lady: beautiful, smart, creative, feminine. We once again made sure that such meetings are very important for our foster mothers who are in extremely difficult conditions that have developed in their families and worsened due to the war in our country.
The program was very rich: the entertaining and inspiring part included the following activities: a beauty zone, a master class on making a "Flower" ornament, creating an "Inspiration Diary", a location for getting to know metaphorical and associative maps.
The second part is motivational: a joint circle of acquaintances, where everyone present talked about themselves, their feelings from the meeting, shared their miraculous recipes, how to survive in this difficult time, where to find support that saves from despair and hopelessness, helps to hope for the best.The participants also received a postcard designed by the member organizations of Maria Mukhametdinova, in order to outline their own values. This postcard became a motivational reminder to mothers that they are beautiful even after the holiday. During the event, the participants created a joint greeting card to Ukrainian defenders.
A pleasant surprise was the elements of the photo zone and instant photos on a Polaroid camera, which the participants took home with them as a souvenir. Also, the participants were waiting for a buffet and flowers from our partners and benefactors as a gift!We sincerely thank the caring people with sensitive hearts who responded and helped create a motivational holiday for 30 mothers who raise children with disabilities, internally displaced mothers, for those who need support.

"Meeting St. Nicholas at a Dragon ball"

The public organization "Litay" organized an inclusive family holiday, in which each of the invited guests was transformed into the hero of a magical event.65 families became the heroes of this fairy tale, more than 100 children took part in the celebration offline and online! In the traditional circle of acquaintance our distinguished guests greeted the families with warm wishes.
We organized an inclusive holiday in the Dragon CAVE - in the Centre for scientific and technical creativity of youth "SPHERE", where the children attended a ball in Dragon and met Saint Nicholas, who handed over wonderful generous gifts from our partners who came to the holiday.The symbol of the event was "FLYING DRAGON", created by volunteer Anna Kovaliova specially for each of our children. The children brought wonderful drawings and letters for our defenders. These cards are filled with childlike faith, love and gratitude for our defenders who protect Ukrainians every day.
Parents together with their children created incredible dragon costumes and makeup artists completed the look with aqua grime. Our little dragon children felt like real heroes in their own fairy tale. Cheerful dances, children's laughter and magical dances turned this day into a real celebration of joy and smiles.
Heartfelt thanks to the unsurpassed director of the holiday, Lora Savchuk. With her energy and sincere desire to bring a fairy tale to life, she was able to realize her creative idea and inspire everyone to join a good cause. Thanks for the technical support of the Centre for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth "SPHERE".
We also remembered those families who could not attend the event. They joined online in the celebration, fun and fellowship. Despite the distance, we shared smiles and wishes in virtual space.The Dragon's Cave also featured a candy bar with unique treats that you won't find anywhere else

Autumn meeting of families of the public organization Litay and our friends!

The circle of acquaintances that took place at the beginning of our event showed how wide the geography of our hometowns is: these are Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, Lviv, and Zaporizhia regions.At our little holiday families met, talked, and received positive emotions.A picnic was organized for families: fruits, sweets, drinks. All the guests enjoyed the treats. Parents were delighted by participation in a workshop of creating mandals, and children by handmade postcards.During the event the bubble show by Alla Volobuyeva became a real delight for the children, thousands thanks to Alla for such valuable support!There was also an opportunity to attend master classes for both adults and children. These activities were carried out by volunteers of the public organization "Litay".
