Since ancient times, a part of life for women was needlework, but earlier, it was an opportunity to feed the family or even survive. As a rule, women created things for themselves, their family and a limited circle of fellow villagers. They were used in the peasant family and household. Many items of clothing, tools, toys, fabrics, embroideries, and jewelry were made in this way.
Nowadays, needlework is more often a kind of hobby for women. Needlework is one of the activities that nurtures feminine energy. Such work allows you to calm down, and is also considered one of the varieties of meditation. Manual work increases the level of female hormones and improves overall health. During manual work, focus shifts from a multitude of tasks to a single, repetitive process. This allows you to relax and completely stabilize your thinking.
Thanks to this, a woman gets harmony, and also becomes more calm and gentle. A love for manual crafts is highly beneficial for the female psyche. It acts as both a ritual and a form of meditation. Creativity activates the right side of the brain, and allows you to organize non-standard thinking, as well as artistic taste. Thanks to this, a person learns to combine colors, textures and materials, which is very useful. Several reasons to do needlework: Things made by hand were very highly valued almost at all times, which is connected with the high cost of manual labor.
If you don't know what to give a loved one, then do something yourself. Knitting or embroidering can be done even by a person who does not know a needle and thread very well.
